Most global stock indices declined as investors weighed the FOMC minutes released (只備英文版)
US shares were mixed in choppy trading Thursday — a day after the FOMC minutes were published and stirred fears of fed funds rate increases. The Dow Jones industrials and S&P were buoyed by gains in industrial and energy shares while US Treasury yields eased. The Dow added 0.7 percent, the S&P edged up 0.1 percent while the Nasdaq slipped 0.1 percent.

US stocks tumbled late in the trading day Wednesday after initially advancing most of the day and in the immediate aftermath of the release of the FOMC minutes. But in the last hour or so of trading, shares tumbled with the three indices closing down on the day after the 10 year treasury note yield climbed to a four year high. The Dow Jones industrials were down 0.7 percent, the S&P lost 0.5 percent and the Nasdaq was 0.2 percent lower.
